Green Apple Roofing was founded in 2008 by Ron Tal — also known as Sharone Tal. After years in general construction, Ron made a deliberate decision to focus on the exterior: roofing, siding, gutters, and windows — and to build a team and a process around doing it well.
That focus paid off. Over 18 years, Green Apple has completed roughly 3,000 roofs across New Jersey and earned both of GAF's top contractor credentials — Master Elite for residential (the top 3% of roofers in North America) and GoldElite for commercial.
Fewer than 1% of U.S. roofers hold both. For homeowners and building owners, that means one licensed, accountable contractor for everything from a residential shingle roof to a commercial flat-roof membrane.
